Never have I ever, sweated in a movie like this one…
First rule… do not see this movie unless you see it in Digital IMAX 3D.
It’s the most powerful thing to be able to experience something as truly beautiful as this film in such a intriguing way.
When I go to a movie theater, I go all out. I get a large popcorn and a diet coke and I prepare to be entertained for about two and a half hours (give or take) by great movies.
Going into this film, I had no idea what to expect. I usually don’t go for sci-fi, but I had to make an exception because this was so different to me. I was utterly shocked by how incredibly mesmerizing this movie was.
For a good portion of the movie, Sandra Bullock is the only character on-screen. All of the emotions she brought to that role were beyond amazing.
George Clooney was the perfect supporting actor in this case. To me, he was a supporting actor in this only because this really was Sandra’s breakout movie. George will definitely earn an Oscar-nod for The Monument’s Man, but Sandra deserves one for Gravity.
This movie had me literally guessing at every stop, sweating at every moment, and making up my own theories of what was to happen next.
There are honestly no words to describe to you how this film is. Alfonso Cuaron did such a perfect job directing this, every human being needs to see and appreciate this perfect film.
